Abstract
This study focuses on Kaihua Xianghuo Grass Dragon, systematically analyzing its origins and development while also examining the inheritance dilemmas, including aging practitioners, youth shortages, and insufficient cultural innovation. It puts forward feasible pathways from digital transformation, tourism activation, and educational inheritance to revitalize the heritage. Digital technologies support precise documentation and wide dissemination, while tourism activation helps realize cultural and economic value; meanwhile, educational inheritance strengthens youth participation and guarantees long-term cultural continuity. The integrated model offers valuable references for the inheritance and revitalization of China’s rural intangible cultural heritage.
