Abstract
This paper examines the registered agricultural holdings (RAHs) in the Republic of Serbia. The present research aims to assess the current condition of RAHs in Serbia and highlight the considerable opportunities that banks and insurance companies possess to promote loans and insurance to small-scale farms. The data on Serbian RAHs were collected for the period 2018–2021. Descriptive statistics served as the primary tool for data analysis. The findings obtained indicate that the small-scale producers in Serbia face restricted access to financial services from banks, which in turn hampers their operational and investment capacities.
