Abstract

The article discusses the functioning of Spiritual Care in the modern Armed Forces and connects them with the change in social outlook and individual action in the second half of the 20th century. The time of the second half of the 20th century is defined by the Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor as an Age of Authenticity, which is characterized by the individual expressing his personality, life path and goals in his own unique and own way. This brings fragmentation in the field of views, the number of which is greatly increasing. Members of the Armed Forces are also heirs of this era, which is why it is also necessary to adapt Spiritual Care in the Modern Armed Forces, primarily in terms of an individual approach and a wider range of work and tasks that encompass comprehensive care for members.
