Abstract
Recently, awareness of climate change has conducted to the implementation of new concepts, which has determined the prioritization of energy efficiency in the building design process. One such concept is passive house. The facade, as the building envelope, is the element that has a significant impact on the total energy consumption of a building. Currently, the use of ventilated facades in different building types, climates and design configurations has grown considerably. The present study provides a brief overview of ventilated facade features and facade anchors certified as minimum thermal bridges for buildings considered passive houses.
