On the sum of the Lah numbers and zeros of the Kummer confluent hypergeometric function

Abstract
In the paper, the authors find the sum of the Lah numbers and make sure that the Kummer confluent hypergeometric function 1F1(n+ 1; 2; z) has only n− 1real and negative zeros.
