Problem solving: a course for blood bankers

Abstract

A structured program for the training of blood bank personnel and students entitled “Problem Solving” is presented in its entirety. The explanation includes the primary objective for this program, course description, how to evaluate student results, a grading system used for errors, and preparation of specimens and practical examinations. An example of an actual problem is also presented.
