Repetita iuvant : la stratégie de la répétition et la réception de Harriet Löwenhjelm

The technique of repetition is a characteristic of Harriet Löwenhjelm’s work on several levels, from the way her poems are created to their content. In this article, we show the origins of the foundation of her style and the transformations it undergoes when reiteration is associated with the use of other languages such as French. Finally, we analyze the French reception of the artist in order to understand the reasons of her oblivion from literary history in the contemporary period.

Résumé

La technique de la répétition caractérise l’œuvre de Harriet Löwenhjelm à plusieurs niveaux, de la modalité de création de ses poèmes à leur contenu. Dans cet article, nous montrons les origines du fondement de son style et les transformations que celui-ci subit lorsque la réitération est associée à l’emploi d’autres langues comme le français. Enfin, nous analysons la réception française de l’artiste pour comprendre les raisons de son oubli dans l’histoire littéraire à l’époque contemporaine.
