Language and Literature in Education

The aim of the book series Language and Literature in Education (ISSN 2003-8542) is to disseminate studies of language education and literature in education. These are the main research fields of the Department of Language Education at Stockholm University, where most members of the editorial board are employed. These researchers are specialized in second, their and foreign language education, multilingualism, and literature in education. Although there are a few journals publishing general educational research in the Nordic countries, there is no forum for publications in the field of language education, and there is definitely a gap to fill, as regards educational perspectives on language and literature. Researchers are invited to send in proposals for monographs, thematic volumes, or collections of papers. Main language of publication is English. However, other languages are not excluded. Theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome.
