All research articles, commentaries, book reviews, and practice notes published by Stability are freely accessible and widely disseminated in academic, policy, and practitioner networks. Stability is particularly dedicated to providing a vehicle for researchers based in fragile, failed and conflict-affected states (FFCAS) to publish their work. Stability not only features evidence-based research and analysis but also promotes a more timely and responsive model of publishing.

Stability is the flagship publication of the Division of Peace Studies and International Development at the University of Bradford, England. This division represents the oldest university Peace Studies department in the world (founded in 1973) and a pioneering centre in development, founded in 1969. The University of Bradford's motto is 'making knowledge work, which is why this journal meshes perfectly with our mandate for practice- and impact-oriented research.
