The Studia Universitatis Cibiniensis. Seria Historica (SUCSH) is published under the auspices of the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, the Department of History and Heritage, and the Center for Research on Heritage and Socio-Cultural History. Founded in 2004, SUCSH has been published annually in Romanian, with occasional articles and reviews in English, German, and French. In recent years, it has also introduced an English-language supplement, typically featuring studies presented at international conferences.
The journal encompasses a wide range of scholarly articles on diverse topics, from prehistory to modern times. Its content includes not only historical studies but also discussions on the philosophy of history and auxiliary sciences, as well as reviews and bibliographic notes that reflect the current state of historiography.
