Cover:
Resilience in the mist
“Hands that harvest the nation's pride also bear invisible wounds”. Each hand-picked tea leaf carries a story of quiet endurance of women in the highlands navigating stigma, poverty, and psychological strain. This image was captured in Dickoya, Hatton while working as a Medical Officer in Mental Health. I have experienced first-hand the hardships these people go through to make ends meet and been inspired by their courage and resilience.
Informed written consent was obtained from both individuals to publish this image in a scientific journal.
