The journal Procesos de Mercado is owned by Jesús Huerta de Soto, Professor of Economics and a leading scholar in the field of the Austrian School of Economics. He is Professor of Political Economy at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) and has made significant contributions to economic theory, particularly in the areas of capital theory, business cycles, monetary theory, and economic methodology. Professor Huerta de Soto is the founder and director of Procesos de Mercado, which was established as an academic forum devoted to the study and dissemination of research in economics, with a particular emphasis on market processes, entrepreneurship, and the Austrian tradition. The journal reflects a strong commitment to academic rigour, open intellectual debate, and the advancement of economic science.
