Aims and scope
This journal is devoted to pure and applied mathematics. Papers from other fields of science may be accepted if they present interesting original mathematical results. Starting 2008 the journal has been selected for coverage in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) - Thomson Reuters and from 2011 the journal is included in Master Journal List, with increasing IF.
This journal is also included in many digital directories of open resources in mathematics as EMIS ELibM, AMS Digital Mathematics Registry, Intute (UK), DOAJ (Lund University Libraries).
The journal Analele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius din Constanta, seria Matematica ( (in short An. St. Univ. Ovidius Constanta, Ser. Mat.), is an international, open-access journal, freely available online. No fee or charges are required for authors, nor for submission, nor for manuscript processing, nor for the publication of the papers. Our journal publishes original papers on pure and applied mathematics. Papers on theoretical physics, astronomy and informatics may be accepted if they present interesting mathematical results. Papers are published in English, and are freely downloadable in pdf format.
We welcome submissions of papers of the following types:
- Long mathematical articles (no more than 30 pages) which present new mathematical results or are surveys on last progress in a branch of maths.
- Short notes with original mathematical results (2-6 pages).
- Letters to the Editors offering constructive criticisms on papers published in our journal.
All submissions must be well written and of broad interest to a substantial number of mathematicians and scientists.
