For reviewers
For each submitted manuscript the Editors seek advice from a minimum of two experts in the appropriate field. The reviewers have the responsibility to evaluate the submitted manuscripts critically, but constructively. They are expected to make an objective, impartial evaluation of scientific merits of the articles and are asked to comment on the following aspects of submitted manuscripts: · novelty and originality of the work The peer review process is double-blinded. Thus, the identities of reviewers, chosen by the editor, will not be disclosed to authors. Also, the reviewers will not be aware of the author(s) identity. An important responsibility of the reviewer is to make recommendations to the editor regarding the suitability of the manuscript for publication in AMM. Reviewers are asked to write comments about the manuscript that support their recommendation to the editor regarding acceptance or rejection. The reviewing process does not involve any costs. The reviewing time is 14 days for new submissions, and 5 days for revised submissions. If the due time is passed, the reviewers will be notified several times. If the reviewers fail to reply, the Editor can unassign the reviewer and select a new one. Any manuscript sent for peer review is a confidential document and should remain so until it is formally published. Reviewers should not distribute copies of the manuscript or make any use of the work described in the manuscript without the authors’ permission. Once all reviews have been received and considered by the Editor, the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief. Several types of decisions are possible: |
