The Power of the In-Between

Sonya Petersson is a postdoctoral researcher and senior lecturer at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. She received her PhD in art history (2014) and is currently working on the research project Graphic Illustration: Concepts and Combined Mediality from the Point of View of Mechanical Reproduction (2016–2018).

Christer Johansson is a research officer and senior lecturer at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. He received his PhD in literary studies (2008) and is currently working on the research projects Concepts of Mediality: A Metatheoretical Investigation of Intermedial Studies and Media Theory and The Materialised Word: Medium and Meaning in Eyvind Johnson’s Prose Fiction.

Magdalena Holdar is senior lecturer in art history at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. Former director of its Curating Art international master’s programme, her research involves the performative aspects of art, exhibition making, and the curatorial. Currently, she is investigating Fluxus from the perspective of its organization as a transnational network.

Sara Callahan is enrolled in the PhD program in art history at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics at Stockholm University. She received her master’s degree in art history at Södertörn University (Stockholm) in 2013. Prior to that she has worked at numerous private and public art galleries in Stockholm and Seattle.
