This work is grounded in actual artifacts unearthed from the Jinsha site, a significant discovery that follows the Sanxingdui archaeological findings, both of which illuminate the ancient Shu civilization of the Middle and Late Bronze Age. The book combines these material findings with extensive historical sources from both ancient and contemporary texts to offer a comprehensive portrayal of the Jinsha civilization’s true identity and cultural characteristics. The author employs an interdisciplinary research approach, carefully correlating archaeological evidence with historical records. The narrative is characterized by clarity and accessibility, skillfully integrating references to classical texts while providing rigorous, evidence-based analysis. By synthesizing existing scholarly contributions with original scientific insights developed through years of dedicated research, the author achieves a balance of engaging, informative, and academically robust content. The book received the Sichuan Province Excellent Book Award and was included in the "Second Batch of Tianfu Culture Recommended Reading List" on the 23rd World Book Day in 2020.
