Description

Architects document software architecture in textual documentation (SAD) and models (SAM). Trace links between these artifacts improve quality and maintenance, but have so far been created manually. This work develops a taxonomy for Architectural Design Decisions and automated approaches for traceability link recovery between SADs, SAMs, and code. The recovered links enable inconsistency detection, achieving F1-scores of up to 95%, significantly outperforming existing approaches.
