Professor Lee is a lawyer, economist, international relations expert, and former diplomat. He is currently the Director and Professorial Fellow of the Law and Development Institute. He has taught and conducted academic research at leading universities throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia for over twenty years, including Cornell University, New York University, Emory University, Tulane University, University of Manchester, and the University of Sydney. He graduated with a degree in economics with distinction from the University of California at Berkeley and received degrees in law with honors from the University of Cambridge (B.A., M.A., Ph.D.).
Professor Lee has over 120 academic publications. He has frequently spoken on international relations through over 70speech engagements at prominent forums such as Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and the World Bank.
