Online Edition
With the support of Nanette Davis and the team at Sheridan, the online version of the Journal of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners (JASQDE) is now active. For individuals (Society members or subscribers) or institutions that directly subscribe to the Journal, access is via a registered e-mail address. A temporary password has been assigned that was sent out recently, it is strongly suggested that it be changed upon the first login.
Institutional subscribers that use a third party subscription service (such as EBSCO) must provide the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the computer network they wish to use for access.

Note that there is no difference between the printed version and the online edition. All members or subscribers will continue to receive the printed edition, there are no plans to discontinue the paper edition.
The online edition allows for searching for text within an issue or other issues that will be available online, PDF download, and sharing via e-mail and/or social media. When signing in a tutorial of the features is available that provides guidance on how to use and access the features.

Manuscript formats and Instructions to Authors
Manuscripts may be submitted in Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format (RTF), Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), or other format in consultation with the editor.
Spellings may follow the United States (US) format or those of the United Kingdom (UK) within a paper but not both except for references to proper names, for example:
A paper may use UK spellings for writing and make reference to “Rockefeller Center” in which case the US spelling for Center is used.
Conversely a different paper may use US spellings and make reference to “Chelsea Harbour” situated in the UK, in which case the UK spelling for Harbour is used.
References within the manuscript may be listed alphabetically by author’s name or by the use of numbers in the order that the references appear in the paper. The latter may be better suited where there are many references.
