Abstract

The results of research related to the analysis of the aero-hydrodynamic characteristics of an unmanned platform using the near-surface effect, supporting military logistics operations in sea areas, using advanced tools of computational fluid dynamics (RANSE-CFD) were presented. Advanced simulations of the platform’s take-off from the water surface, its flight and splashdown on the free water surface were performed. The simulation results allowed for the assessment of the shape of the hull structure and constitute the basis for the structural and strength analysis of the platform. The study of the platform’s movement trajectory depending on the set thrust force and the force generated by the elevator operation allowed, among other things, for a preliminary assessment of the possibilities of controlling the movement and steering the platform.
