Abstract

We describe the experiences made at the Bavarian State Library with implementing content-based music search for a subset of collections held at a major research library. We discuss the development of the associated projects, the corpora covered, the OMR and query-matching technologies used, and the experiences we have made in designing appropriate search interfaces.
