Abstract
The „Government program“ constitutes an important document on political action in our country. The present article proposes a comparative analysis of the various Government programs of the Swiss cantons. The objective is to establish a typology with regard to their performative character and their communicational dimension. This modelling should allow a good grasp of the various purposes that cantonal governments wish to give their programs. Thus allowing both elected officials and citizens to make better use of these guidance tools.
