Abstract
How can Zurich municipalities react to the increasing financial burden of long-term care? The following article addresses this question by analysing the financial consequences of the new long-term care financing arrangement and by elaborating recommendations for municipalities. Key issues in the context of the long-term care are the rising financial burden and, as a result of that, the need of networking, cooperation and coordination among the municipalities as well as across the cantonal borders.
