Abstract

The Sustainable Aviation Technology Dashboard (SAT Dashboard) is an interactive software tool developed by the Laboratory for Electric Aircraft Design and Sustainability at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to evaluate pathways toward decarbonized aviation. The SAT Dashboard addresses the challenge of assessing alternative energy carriers, such as sustainable aviation fuels, batteries, and hydrogen, by integrating physics-based, techno-economic, and environmental models into a unified framework. Architected as a modular, web-based platform, it enables transparent scenario analysis and visualization of key performance indicators. The software is stored on a publicly accessible server and designed for reuse in research, education, and policy applications, supporting collaboration across academia, industry, and government.
