Abstract
Integrated care plays an important role in supporting young people and families. In supporting the growing up and upbringing of youth, many professionals from different organizations are involved and supposed to collaborate, specifically (but not exclusively) in case families encounter challenges that require care across different life domains. Integration of care and support is then required. Although a lot of research is being done on integrated support for youth and families, the knowledge base is fragmented. In order to consolidate and expand this knowledge base, the Dutch Expertise Network on Integrated Working with Youth and Families was established with the aim of creating an overview of ongoing research and identifying knowledge gaps. Also, this network promotes the exchange of knowledge between researchers and practitioners. Furthermore, the network provides guidance on the future research agenda to further improve the knowledge and effectiveness of integrated support. The network would like to explore and expand possibilities for international cooperation between researchers interested and/or involved in research on integrated support for youth and families.
