Abstract
This breakfast session will provide delegates with an understanding of the Bevan Commission’s Academy and associated programmes as part of an integrated and coordinated programme of activities designed to facilitate innovation and transformation of health and care policy and practice:
• Bevan Exemplars
• Bevan Fellows
• Bevan Advocates
• Intensive Learning Week
• Tailored Innovation Programmes
Case studies of a range of exemplar projects will demonstrate the ’why’, ‘what’ and ‘how’ innovation has been developed and implemented as well as provide examples of some of the projects which have gone on to be adopted and spread across Wales. In addition, learning from establishing and running the Academy will be shared together with some of the independent evaluation of the Exemplar programme since it commenced in 2015.
