Abstract
Summary: This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to examine current learning on the implementation and impact of integrated care from across the world. Specifically, the workshop will reflect on the last ten years of progress in different countries and regions explored in 15 articles that were published in the 20th Anniversary Edition of the International Journal of Integrated care (IJIC) launched in autumn 2021. It will use a world café approach to enable participants to discuss with authors and other attendees the key challenges and opportunities that have arisen from these articles. A blog based on the main themes will be produced to support wider learning
Aims: To share key insights on the implementation and outcomes of integrated care from the 20th Anniversary Special Edition
To facilitate discussion with authors and between participants on the main themes that have arisen from the progress and experiences of these countries and regions
To capture the discussions and debates and communicate to a wider audience post workshop.
Target audience: We would hope for an audience which reflects the diversity of stakeholders who are involved in developing integrated care policies and programmes – i.e. people with lived experience, practice leaders, programme directors, researchers, and policy makers.
Facilitators / speakers: The workshop will be facilitated by the IJIC Editors in Chief with contribution from authors of the articles present at the conference. Robin Miller, Viktoria Stein, Nick Goodwin and Edelweiss Aldasoro will coordinate the world café, provide a synthesis of key insights from the articles of the 20th Anniversary Edition of IJIC, and write up a summary of the event for publication. Authors of the articles within the special edition will contribute to discussions of the main themes at the various world café tables.
