Abstract

Workshop – Background

The Falling Through the Cracks: Greg's Story film was initially created to be used in the undergrad medical school classroom but in the 3 years since its launch it has been used more than 400 times with audiences at all stages of their careers throughout the healthcare system in Canada.

Workshop - Aims and Objectives

This workshop will make a powerful and impactful case for why integrated care is vitally important.

The post-film discussion with members of Greg’s family will give the audience the opportunity to learn about Greg, details of his journey through the healthcare system and what the family has learned since he died.

The activity will reinforce the importance of teamwork and aims to move mindsets toward a common vision for our healthcare systems that is built on a foundation of teamwork.

The audience will walk away understanding how they can use the film and join a network sharing resources for change.
