In her 2025 book, Giant Rays of Hope: Protecting Manta Rays to Safeguard the Sea (published by Millbrook Press), Patricia Newman follows the lifelong work of Peruvian environmentalist Kerstin Forsburg as she works toward a hopeful and inspiring future for the coastal waters off Tumbes, Peru.
