Abstract
The subject matter of the article focuses on the Aspern Seestadt housing estate in Vienna, conceived as a large urban laboratory, in which designed solutions are implemented and analyzed on an ongoing basis in the context of the principles of Sustainable Development: ecology, economy, society. The aim of the article is to present the synthesis of the results of the Urban Audit – an original tool examining the level of sustainable development in housing estate space – carried out by the author in the housing estate during her study stay in autumn 2022.
