
An evaluation of training programmes conducted by National Library and Documentation Services Board. (With special reference to programmes conducted in 2017)

Significant functions of the National Library are conducting library related activities, educating national library personnel, offering training facilities for library professionals. This study was carried out to evaluate the training programmes conducted by National Library and 111 training programmes conducted in 2017 were selected for this purpose. Case study method was used for this research. Training programmes were analysed according to target group, contents, geographical location and duration of training programme sessions. Primary sources, observation and interviews were used to collect data for the study.
