Perioperative Management of a child with Tetralogy of Fallot and Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy

Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is one of the most common cyanotic congenital heart diseases, and its association with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM) is extremely rare, with very few cases reported in the literature. Here, we report a case of a 2-year-old male child who presented with progressive hypoxia, was diagnosed with TOF and HOCM, had a past history of stroke with residual weakness, and now underwent total correction and extensive myectomy. He had an extremely stormy postoperative period but was successfully managed.
