Abstract
Unlike other languages, Japanese language has three alphabets. Learning an alphabet is an intellectual exercise. The students engaged in that intellectual exercise mainly get the result of intellectual development and also get inspiration to learn a new alphabet. It is also important to use poetry in learning the language because although prose appears to be merely documentary and rather boring, in contrast to it, poetry can be used very attractively. Beautiful words from the Japanese language can be used beautifully in poems. Therefore, using poetry in teaching Japanese language is very effective. Learning the language becomes fun and enjoyable. Prose should be learned by sticking to a grammatical framework which is rather tough work. Therefore, poems can be more effectively used to teach the grammatical framework. In a poem, you can enjoy great freedom to move words around and it can be done happily by the student. A diversification of sentences can be seen in the language of poetry. Therefore, it becomes a beautiful creation. Moreover, the content of the poems is philosophically and aesthetically rich. Due to that, there is a temptation to develop not only poetry but also language when developing poetry. And poetry is something that is easily memorized. The biggest problem for a student in learning a foreign language is having to remember the vocabulary of the language. But when you study poetry, you can remember the words of the language and the terms of the language easily.
