An alternative method for constructing Hadamard matrices

Symmetric Hadamard matrices are investigated in this research and an alternative method of construction is introduced. Using the proposed method, we can construct Hadamard matrices of order 2n+1(q+1) where q ≡ 1 (mod 4) and n ≥ 1.
This construction can be used to construct an infinite number of Hadamard matrices. For the present study, we use quadratic non-residues over a finite field.
