Abstract
This review explores the complex relationship between epilepsy and pregnancy, focusing on the effects of epilepsy on pregnancy outcomes, the influence of pregnancy on epilepsy, the teratogenic effects of anti-seizure medications, the role of vitamin K supplementation, and the management of epilepsy during pregnancy. By synthesizing recent research and clinical guidelines, the review provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced by women with epilepsy during pregnancy and the strategies employed to manage these challenges effectively.
