M-polynomial and topological indices for antiretroviral drugs against HIV infection
Abstract
HIV and AIDS spread in successive waves in various regions around the world and is globally emerged as a major public health threat. Therefore, clinicians and scientists have the challenge to develop the antiretroviral treatment (ART) and prevention against this deadly virus. The introduction of antiretroviral drugs has dramatically reduced HIV/AIDS associated crisis through rapidly restoring the immune cells, promoting adherence and alleviating the hazards of mortality. In this study, we investigate the degree based topological indices of the antiretroviral drugs such as Zidovudine, Efavirenz and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate which are used against the HIV infection. Investigating the topological indices of these drugs may allow the researchers to study the physical, chemical and biological properties against their topological indices. Therefore, the results obtained can be facilitated in the designing of new antiretroviral drugs for the HIV.
