Abstract

This Summer Issue explores the complex workings of international legal frameworks and mechanisms in responding to armed conflicts and human rights violations. Featuring articles from diverse scholars, the issue addresses topics such as maritime security, the efficacy of international criminal justice, cultural influences on legal testimonies, the EU Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence, and the Responsibility to Protect doctrine. Each contribution examines the possibilities and limitations of international law in mitigating conflicts and safeguarding human rights, providing a comprehensive analysis of contemporary conflict resolution strategies.
