Rainfall pH in the Venezuelan savannah
Abstract
The pH of rainfall samples collected by event were measured at three sites in the Venezuelan Savannah. The volume-weighted average pH values at Camburito, Joaquin del Tigre and La Paragua were 4.4, 5.1 and 4.8, respectively. These low pH values are in agreement with the reported values for other rural areas of tropical America.
