Measurement of the N2O correction for 13C/12C ratios of atmospheric CO2 by removal of N2O

Abstract
Measured 13δ and 18δ values of atmospheric CO2 extracted from air samples by condensation in liquid nitrogen have to be corrected for the presence of N2O which interferes with the mass spectrometric analysis. The theoretically-derived correction anticipated previously is now confirmed by measurements after complete removal of N2O.
