Abstract
Comparison of two direct sampling methods for the determination of atmospheric ammonia at low ambient concentrations in a marine atmosphere has revealed consistent problems of aerosol volatilization when a prefilter is used to separate the particulate and gaseous ammoniac omponents in the sample air.
