Some Remarks on the Sudden Cosmic Ray Increase on Februari 23, 1956
By: E.-Å. Brunberg and D. Eckhartt
Abstract
The north and south pointing GM-telescopes at Stockholm measured different cosmic ray increases during the solar flare on Feb. 23. It is shown that this difference is due to particles of momenta greater than 10 GeV/c which could not have travelled along straight line paths from the sun.
