Abstract
The relative humidity in radiation fog is governed by the rate at which water condenses onto the hygroscopic nuclei and the rate of fall of temperature. An equation describing this is developed and from this equation it is deduced that, with the usual rates of fall of temperature and salt content of the air, the relative humidity is unlikely to exceed 100.1 per cent.
