Some Remarks on High-speed Automatic Computers and their Use in Meteorology
Abstract
The logical design of an electronic digital computer is described. A simple computation problem is proposed; this is used to illustrate the main steps leading to formulation of a problem for machine computation – the propram and the flow diagram. In conclusion, some general comments are made concerning areas of application of high-speed computers in meteorology.
