Abstract
Prof. Dr. G. HOLLMANN has kindly pointed out to me that (2.3) does not give the general solution of (2.2) in my paper “An exact integral of complete spectral equations for unsteady one-dimensional flow”. In the first paragraph of Section 2, my statement that it does is wrong.
