The squared coefficient of asymmetry (CVa2) value and character mean (otolith length, width in mm, and mass in g) values of Mulloidichthys flavolineatus and Parupeneus forsskali were examined in the present study_ N, the total number of otolith retrieved from 158 fish individuals for Mulloidichthys flavolineatus and 102 individuals for Parupeneus forsskali_
