''Every now and then a trigger has to be pulled'': Narrative, Nemesis, and Retributive Justice in the James Bond Films
By: James Shelton
Abstract
This article examines narrative progression within the James Bond films using a framework based on the concept of the "minimal complete plot" advanced by Tzvetan Todorov. I utilise this framework to examinine the ways in which retributive justice acts a narrative driver between different states of narrative equilibirum in the Bond films.
