Abstract
The International Journal of James Bond Studies is an academic peer review journal dedicated to publishing interdisciplinary scholarship on all aspects of Ian Fleming’s James Bond franchise. By way of an introduction, this article will outline the existing research in this field, accounting for the rise in critical studies of Fleming's novels and the Bond films, as well as outlining both the first issue's content and approach.
