In its April 2026 issue, Wirtschaftsdienst published a summary of the Joint Economic Forecast entitled “Energiepreisschock überlagert Fiskalimpuls – Wachstumskräfte versiegen”. In his response, Adalbert Winkler emphasises that Germany needs a new business model, as the trend towards deglobalisation is set to continue.
