Abstract

This work presents a special configuration of electrochemical noise analysis technique allowing non-destructive quantification of corrosion activity on zinc-based coatings. The statistical treatment of measured data and software modification is proposed for effective industrial applications of corrosion monitoring, especially on site. Finally, the method is able to detect up to 5 levels of corrosion activities on zinc surfaces. Nowadays, the technique is being verified for other coating materials.
