Abstract

A suitable combination of electroplating metals, basicbath composition and working conditions makes it possibleto prepare coatings that meet specific requirements given inadvance. The requirements include not only the appearanceand corrosion resistance but also hardness, strength, wearresistance, and other properties. This paper deals with thecorrosion resistance of electrodeposited Ni-Co alloy coatingsand methods of their evaluation. Corrosion properties of thecoatings were determined by measuring of potentiodynamiccurves and electrochemical noise analysis (ENA).
